Many big-name brand candles are made overseas where inexpensive ingredients are used that can be harmful to your health.
At Rockwall Candle, we use only the finest ingredients to deliver a superior product.
What's the difference between your soy and standard candles?
Soy wax is made from soybean oil, a renewable resource. It also burns longer. While both candles will produce some soot, the soot from soy candles is lighter and more challenging to see. Due to the natural properties of the wax, our standard candles will smell slightly stronger while burning.
I bought a special edition candle, and I love the container. Can you refill it?
Absolutely! Pick your fragrance and only pay for the wax. Lead time is about 3-5 days, depending on the type of wax you select. If you get your candle filled with soy wax, it is recommended to let it cure for 2 weeks before burning to get the best-smelling candle.
How long will my candle burn?
Burn time depends on a lot of factors including the wick size, wax type, and candle maintenance. We do our best to estimate the burn time of our candles based on burn tests and the factors listed above. During burn tests, we weigh our candles before and after each 4-hour burn to see how much wax is consumed. We calculate the estimated burn time based on each candle's total weight. It is also essential to ensure you never burn a candle longer than 4 hours and keep your wick trimmed. If you aren't getting close to the approximate burn time listed, please reach out so we can help you.
Does it matter where I put my candle?
Candle placement is important for a few reasons. The first consideration with candle placement is regarding safety. Never put your candle under anything flammable and ensure the surface where your candle is burning is heat resistant. Next, you'll want to ensure you place your candle in a room that is appropriate for the size of the candle you're burning. Small, single wick candles are great for small enclosed rooms while large open floor plans require one or many 3 wick candles.
